Bath Time

Bath time is always fun at our house.  Tatum is always painting and blowing the bubbles out of her hand.  And Cam is smiling and spashing.  The girls take a bath together every night now, even though Cam is still in her little pink bath. They are just too cute :)

Camdyn Ate!!!!

Now that Camdyn can sit on her own and hold her head up all by herself we decided to give her solid food for the first time.  We started Tatum on solid foods when she was 4 months but thought that was too early so wanted to wait until Cam was a little bit older.  Since she is 5 1/2 months we thought we should give it a try.  We gave her bananas first and let me just say that she LOVED them.  She was opening her mouth and eating them so great.  All 3 of us took a chance to feed her and she loved every bite.  Cannot believe our little Camdyn is eating solid foods, she is growing up so fast!!

Both of our girls are growing leaps and bounds and doing such great things!! 

Tatum is now in her 3rd week of wearing big girl panties during the day.  She is doing amazing in them and has only had one accident at school and it was a nap time accident, so I would say that is pretty darn great.  Her teachers at school told me she was ready to do it and because her very best friend is in panties to it helped her a lot.  I am so thankful for her teachers, they really are amazing!!  She is starting to go by herself whenever she needs to, but still likes to have company sometimes.  We are so proud of her and how great she is doing!!

Camdyn has mastered the art of rolling over.  That girl won't stay still if you put her down.  She is awesome at rolling back to tummy!!  Tummy to back is a little harder for her but she does that every once in a while.  And just yesterday she started sitting up all by herself.  We are so very proud of Camdyn, this is a big milestone for her.

Tatum and I decided to have a special morning.  We went to As You Wish and did a little painting to have some time just the 2 of us.  We had so much fun!!  Tatum painted a piggy bank and I painted a little bowl.  Tatum painted the smallest bank they had.  I told her she wouldn't be able to put much money in that one and asked her if she wanted a bigger one.  She said, "no thank Mom, I like the cute little piggy".  She is just adorable.  We had a great time just us painting away.  Tatum is quite a good painter, very concentrated.  Can't wait to see how our things look when we pick them up on Tuesday!!

4th of July!!

We had a great 4th of July spent with family and friends.  We flew home from Vegas that morning and were so excited to see our girls.  We got to spend the day at home with our girls and Gramma and Grampa and then headed over to the Veeh's for the 4th of July Celebration.  We did lots of swimming and enjoyed the cool breeze outside. 

Tatum has been talking about fireworks the last few weeks and was saying how excited she was for them.  So we were all anxious to see what she would think of them.  Needless to say she is still terrified of them!!  We heard some while we were swimming and thank goodness she had her life jacket on cause she jump so much!!  So we watched the NYC fireworks on tv and then went home.  We got home and Matt decided to see if we were able to see any fireworks from our house and we could!!  The 4 of us stood in our upstairs bathtub and looked out the window and watched the show.  Tatum loved watching the fireworks with no sound.  It was so much fun!!

Maybe next year the sound won't scare her so much, guess we will see!!

Matt's Birthday Suprise!!

Matt turned 30 on July 3rd and I surprised him with a trip to Vegas!!  I have been planning this trip for over a year and cannot believe that he didn't know what was going on.  He was a little suspicious that I hadn't told him any plans yet so he knew something was up, but thank goodness he didn't suspect a trip to Vegas :)

I woke him up at 4am on Saturday and said lets go to Vegas, he was so excited.  We had an awesome weekend with great friends and even made some money while we were there!!  I love Matt so so much and I am so so glad I was able to pull off something special for his 30th birthday!! (Hope he starts planning mine, haha).

Gramma and Grampa flew out here to stay with Tatum and Camdyn and the girls had a blast hanging out with them.  They got to do so many fun things; swimming, bike riding, the zoo, baking, painting, crafts.  Tatum and Cam are so lucky they got that special time.  I missed the girls soooo much so no more trips without our babies for a while!!

New Blog

Moving our Blog!! I decided I would move our blog over to this site as our other blog was running out of space and we needed to move to get room to put up all our pictures and life's happenings!!  So bare with me as I figure out the new site and how everything on here works!!  And hopefully with the new blog I will post more often (crossing my fingers)!!  Just a few pics for now to see how everything looks :)
